Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a near clear deep amber brown with a light brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces nicely. Aroma has good amount of chestnut up front with a good amount of roasted malts with underlying chocolate and coffee. Flavor has more coffee up front with the chestnut backed by a good amount of roasted malts and a hint of bitter chocolate.
