Bottle at the brewpub. Pours black with a creamy brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of earthy pine hops with a dark roasted malts and a bit of coffee. Flavor has an earthy pine note up front with a strong roasted malt note and a bit of bitter chocolate.
