Bottle from 504 Craft Beer Reserve, New Orleans. Aroma is tasty Bourbon with chocolate, dark malt, smooth roast, moderate coconut, oak, and some caramel. Flavour is medium sweet with a mild roasty bitterness. Body is medium. I'd like a little more coconut, but the Bourbon barrel aging is on point.

(Bottle, 10.1%) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black bread, coffee, coconut, raisins, oak wood, bourbon, vanilla, toffee and a touch of treacle. Malty, roasted, vinous taste with bourbon, oak wood, toasted coconut, raisins, black bread, treacle, coffee, liquorice, vanilla and a balanced roasty bitterness in a sweet and warming finish. Almost full body, sweet. Really rich and tasty, with a generous and warming bourbon character. Very nice.

Bomber received as gift. Near black pour, soft beige head, streaky lacing. Aroma sarts with the coconut which then merges with some nice chocolaty roast. Taste continues the Mounds vibe, and adding a nice glow from the alcohol. This is one pleasant beer from start to finish.

65 cl bottle @ olio
Aroma has coconut and licorice. Flavour has coconut, some licorice and bourbon tones. Luckily this isn't that much of a coconut overdose – the whiskey balances it.

Opaque colour, small steady beige head and lace. Aroma has bourbon-vanilla and then coconut. Medium-bodied. Coconut and bourbon also in the flavour. Simple and sweet. If you don't like coconut - this is not your thing.
