This brew has a rich maltiness that is highlighted not only by caramel malts, but also by a long kettle boil for strong carmelization effects. A cold fermentation and minimal hop content emphasize a full bodied, chewy mouthfeel.

Growler from the brewpub. Poured a reddish brown with a light brown head. Aroma was full of sweet malts, biscuit and a nice underlying alcohol note. The flavor was similar with the alcohol perfectly complimenting the sweet grain and biscuit notes.
