Expect an early, quenching burst of ripe melon and pressed Sauv Blanc from the freshest crop of 2025 Nelson, harvested just a few short months ago. A gentle whiff of sweet meadow-flower floats above a fluffy texture & indulgent mouthfeel.

Artist Notes

In the ancient cosmologies of the Middle East, Bahamut is the great fish of the deep — a vast, unknowable being that lies beneath the very foundations of the universe. So massive is Bahamut that the human mind cannot comprehend its true scale. Some tales say that if all the oceans were poured into one of its nostrils, it would not notice.

Upon Bahamut’s back stands a bull, which bears a radiant gemstone, supporting an angelic figure, who in turn carries the Earth itself. This towering cosmic stack is said to uphold all of creation, with Bahamut as its silent, slumbering foundation. Unlike many giants of myth, Bahamut is not a bringer of chaos, but a stabilising force, an ancient presence whose existence allows the world to be.

In this depiction, Bahamut has been reimagined with a vivid, psychedelic lens: a pink whale adrift in a swirling ocean of colour. The cosmic stack atop its back rises through a green-black sky littered with stars, a surreal vision of myth, mysticism, and balance at the edge of comprehension.
