On tap at Tavern on the Lake in Hightstown, NJ. Opaque black with a small tan head. Sweet roasted malt nose. Notes of coffee, cinnamon, vanilla and dark dried fruit. Flavor mirrors nose. Warming alcohol and sweet coffee come forward. Smooth silky mouthfeel. A real sipping brew. Improves as it warms. Delicious.
