It’s not too wild a claim to say we’ve been pretty enamoured with the Oat Cream style since introducing it into our brew plans earlier in the year.

A purposeful experiment into pushing the fluffiness of our beers to the absolute max and replicating the US hype beers that inspired us to brew in the first place, we’ve scored another check in the column with Vanilla Azacca.

Wanting to utilise a hop variety that we feel is so often underrated and pushed out by purported sexier hops, we’re proving here that Azacca can hold its own and then some in a single hop showcase. Mango, tangerine and apricot dominate, with more subtle notes of grapefruit and peach slink through in the background.

Complimented by an addition of fresh madagascan vanilla pods, alongside a higher than usual dose of dextrin in the mash, this is a beer that earns those extra c’s in just how thiccc it is.

440ml can. Hazy golden, white head. Aroma of vanilla, mango, ripe tropical fruits. Taste is sweet, loads of vanilla dominating, ripe mango, bitter grapefruit peel and some light herbal notes. Medium-full bodied, very creamy. Nailed the milkshake feel without needing lactose which is good. Decent for the style but wouldn't want more than one. Nor would I regularly want to drink these.
