330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Juicy, tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of mango, passion fruit, guava, leafy-tart-ish overtones. Taste is sweet-and-sour, juicy, tropical fruity hoppy and wheaty and caramel malty, notes of mango, passion fruit, guava, some orange, a piney touch. Very nice.

I Draught /I Yellowish head, fast going: hazy ochre-orange beer. Oranges, freshly cut, hint at cilandro, nectarine, peach. Even a bit wine-y. Sweet & sourish. Again (sourish) oranges; hint at chlorophyl. Finish has a nice faint acidity, making it refreshing. Maybe medium bodied, slick. Good carbonation. Nice NEIPA!

On tap at Micro Beer Festival Ljubljana 2018. Shared with Višnja 666. Murky golden, off-white head. Lightly to moderately hoppy, juicy citrus, stone fruit, light fruity sourness, berries. Lightly sour, lightly malty, almost no bitterness. Light body, soft to moderate carbonation, creamy texture, abrupt finish. Nice blend, innovative.

5 July 2019. At Dok Brewing Festival. Cheers to Anke & Ghent beer crew! Clear orange-golden with a lasting, very thin, frothy, white head. Aroma of unripe mandarin, lemon, peach, yoghurt, lactic acid, lime, a bit stale & sweaty. Taste is medium fruity sour, hints of unripe peach, mandarin, sweetish apricot, lime & lemon paired with (slightly stale) yoghurt, creating a lactic acid effect. The bitter undertone has stonefruit & grass bit is also a bit dank, oniony & yeasty. Dryish, floral hoppy finish, lingering unripe fruit, yeast & 'bacteria'. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. In the end, the sourness kills the juicy fruitiness, so I guess the experiment went a bit wrong.

A kettle-soured NEIPA, so in a certain sense a hybrid of NEIPA and Berliner Weisse: a first for me and I had absolutely no idea what to expect. Once again thanks to Davor! Loose and thinnish, off-white head, bit irregular and quickly settling as a ring with some loose, small dots in the middle; misty orange-hued, almost vaguely 'dirty brownish' peach blonde robe. Aroma - not surprisingly - mostly dominated by a strong scent of stale urine ('hops urine'), next to impressions of spoiled leek soup, yoghurt going bad, sundried tomato, fresh catnip and cranesbill leaves, dust, old crumbling bread, withering kitchen herbs, overripe papaja, sourdough. Crisp, juicy onset, fruity with notes of sour grapes, unripe melon, pineapple and medlar as well as sour buckthorn berries, lively but refined carb, slim mouthfeel with a powdery aspect to it, dried by the lactic, 'dirty' yoghurty sourness over a softly bready and somewhat biscuity malt soil; this drying sourness is flavoured like stale fruit juice in the end, with withering green herb-, spoiled leek- and pumpkin soup-like aspects as well as something unpleasantly phenolic (band aid). Fruity alright, with a notably dry and powdery, hop bitterish finish, but not in a good way for me, I'm afraid; tastes like a spoiled beer, which is basically what it is. I don't think letting lactic bacteria go loose on a delicately hopped and fragile NEIPA was a good idea - 'sour IPA' only elicits suspicion in me so far, and this one, in spite of being quite original and daring, has failed to change my mind. Not my kind of beer, but extra points for having a lot of heart...
