Golden colored, clear, medium- white head, nice lacing. Taste is medium sweet malty grainy, medium+ noble hoppy bitterness, bready finish. Dry, bitter aftertaste. Light to medium bodied, lively carbonation. Definitely improved from the first time I’ve tried it. (on tap, Sisak Beer Fest, Sisak)

9/11 On tap at restaurant Tomislav, Križevci. It was clear golden colored with medium sized head atop. Aroma was fine, but quite weak, lightly malty with unpasteurized herbal hops. Flavor was well balanced, a bit on the sweet side, honey and bread malty with its hop counterpart showed as herbal and spicy peppery. A bit yeasty - chalky as well. Medium to thinner in body made it refreshing, while hops got more pronounced in the finish which adds to it. Kinda typical for the region, sure, but a well made house beer.

On tap at Restoran Tomislav, križevci. Slightly hazy golden coloured, medium sized white head, herbal nose. The taste is typical for Slovenian brewpub beers. Moderate malty, barnyard and mild herbal hoppy with discreet hint of spices in the finish. Not bad at all.

On tap at Restoran Tomislav. Full clear golden body with a darker creamy white head. Nice sweet aroma, yoghurty maltiness, vague herbs & lemon drops. The aroma already showed what it would be - a typical Croatian/Slovenian brewpub/micro pale. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing - there are brilliant variations on the theme. The taste is somewhat grainy, sweetish, but slightly thin in mouthfeel. Mild peppery-herbal hoppy notes here and there, nicely incorporeted but rare and not carrying much bitterness, at all, until everything’s rounded up to a lemon drop note before a dry finish. Quite drinkable, but doesn’t stay moreish that long. Well, it went nicely with my pizza - and that’s basically what it was brewed to do I guess. You can do much much worse, and the price/quality ratio is tough to beat here.
