Bottle, 0.5l. Deep muddy brown pour, huge soapy beige head. Obviously over carbonated, strong hissing sound upon opening. Also, there's quite a lot of yeast floating around the glass. Not really impressive first impressions, but hey, who knows? Anyways, quite mild on the nose, malty with subtle roastiness to it. Light body, medium carbonation, slightly fizzy. Watery texture, lightweight, mild chewy. Roasty bittersweet taste. Aroma is actually quite decent although sadly watered down. Lots of coffee in this one, latte, roasted malt. Mild caramel, again coffee in the aftertaste. Mild cocoa. Short lasting and dry finish, roasty, lingering bitterness. Quite mediocre. Not bad but not really that good either. Still, I'll probably give another batch a try one of these days.

On tap at Fakin Craft Bar, Zagreb. Shared with Peh and Krama. Dark brown to black, small beige head. Buttery notes strike out unfortunately. Chocolate and caramel aromas, nice roasty profile. Dry finish. Soft texture and carbonation. Light to medium body.

On tap at Craft Beer To Go Zagreb. Black coloured, medium sized beige head, milk chocolate in the nose. Light roasted malt, ,ilk chocolate, some odd herbal touch and dry mild bitterish finish. Drinkable but can be better.

Tap-to-can from Craft Beer To Go (thanks Ania V.)! Pitch black, solid greyish-tan head, big, medium retention. The aroma is creamy, grainy and soapy in a way, interesting, slightly sweetish, not hitting the right chords for me, but not bad. The taste, however, makes up for it - creamy, chocolatey - both milk and dark smooth, not too sweet, drinkable, vaguely soapy/herbal, but nice. Ends quite dry really, borderline astringent, but it remains quite drinkable. The best Valens so far!
