‘t is fruitig, ‘t is roasty, ‘t is dik, ‘t is gewoon een stevige bak ellende eigenlijk en ‘t glijdt er prima in.

Med-full bod, med-light carbo. Med sweet, med-high bitter. Lots of cocoa, med chocolate, mostly dark choc. Light coffee. Not too complex, but satisfactorily intense, good enpugh sipper. Nice.

On tap @ BPBW, Saturday session. Apart from the usual impy stout notes it has a very pleasant tart and sweet fruity character to it both in aroma and taste. Good one.

23-04-20 // 330ml can from the brewereis onlineshop. Puh heavy stuff. Way too sweet for me. Loads of molasses and lactose sweet chocolate and coffee on the body. Silky rich mouthfeel. A light roasted bitterness but way too much sweetness overwhelming it. A taster is fine but a can is way too much for me.

(Can) Pours black with big dense tan head - great looking beer. Aroma has notes of dried fruit, port, and hints of fresh sawn timber. Lovely palette - full bodied, thick, sticky with soft carbonation. Taste is rich and sweet. There’s some port notes, and some dried fruit. There’s a hint of alcohol. Some chocolate too. Very nice, but a bit sweet.

Can from iznogud: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is definitely figs, chocolate, some roastiness. Taste is sweet and pretty large. Figs play a very big role here. Very good.
