Shared at a tasting, smallish head, clear pale brown to deep red color, aroma waffle and candy with some plum behind, flavor of lightly roasted dark bread and coffee. Fair and drinkable, nothing more.

1L glass bottle. Pours clear copper colour with moderate off-white head. Well-lacing. Nose: caramel, esters, brown bread, banana (?), dried fruit. Light plus body. Taste: dryish. Clean. Bready, quite a lot of caramel, fruit esters, hoppy ending. Grassy. Light plus bitterness. Well-balanced. Tasty. Still: not really a brown ale. Rather a Belgian one. P. S. No juniper berries detected

50 cl jug like bottle. Clear red color with a bubbly yellowish head, fading. Aroma is light malty with a berry note (juniper), caramel, and noticeably ferric aftertaste with mild butter. Relatively hopped though, it has a grassy note with lemongrass. Taste juicy, fruity, light metallic, buttery. Not accustomed to the style, reminds me ow Newcastle crossed with a german märzen.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear brandy-amber, sticky beige head. Smells of dark caramelized sugars with toasty nutty notes, like those in British bitters. Similar taste - the balance is a bit more towards sugars, maybe too much - light to moderate dry spicy and earthy bitterness. Not much juniper, unfortunately. Very clean and pricise execution.

Bottle from a supermarket in Vulnius. Clear amber color white coca cola head. Aroma of metallic caramel. Taste is brown sugar and caramel. I thought it was a brown ale.

1 littre bottle.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Tom L's place. Clear amber-brown. Malt, nuts, toast, dark bread, caramel, minerals, faint spicy note, sweetish, a bit of earth, bitterish finish, medium-bodied. Kinda OK.

1 litre glass bottle. Pours clear cola brown with a medium-sized tan head that lasts a couple of seconds. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, faint hoppy notes. Taste is sweet, caramel, rye bread, and roasted malt. Finish ia low bitter and bit spicy. Couldn’t detect the juniper. To me it tastes a lot like the Russian version of Kozel Cerny. TBH it doesn’t feel like a brown ale, despite what the brewer claims.
