The brethren provideth. Hazy dark yolk yellow with unattractive brown tint. Foamy white head. Aroma has soft sweet fruit with a syrupy citrus and resin streak. Flavourwise it is less powerful than the aroma suggested it would be. Medium bitter. Resinous. Tart citrus and gooseberries. Spice and herbs. Lacks the promised sweetness. Underlying chewy malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Certainly hoppy Session IPA but it somehow doesn't quite work.
