Bottle at home, Espoo. Colour is clear Brown with small head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, Bread, malts... Pretty good for Karvila brew.

Pleasantly bready and nutty, strong malty flavour. Licorice notes, slightly sweet. Nice.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, from Punaisen piipun kievari, 20250705) The beer poured black. Tiny while head. Aroma had burnt malts, rye bread, coffee and lactic sweetness. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, milk chocolate, ash, rye bread and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, ash, rye bread and bitterness. A good burnt brew with mild adjuncts notes.
