Saranac Blueberry Blonde Ale is a traditional blonde with a kick of juicy blueberry. You’ll notice a light golden haze from wheat malt and oats and a low hop bitterness, which really shows off the fruit. With a medium-light body and fresh blueberry flavor, we’re sure we’ve captured refreshment in a bottle! Cheers!

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy apricot-orange color with a medium foamy orange-tan head that left good lacing. The aroma was tangy blueberry and table sugar and a hint of sourdough bread. The flavor was tangy honey, orange and blueberry with undertones of cardboard and must. Medium length tangy blueberry finish. Moderately full bodied. Pleasant.

Bottle. Blueberry and barley malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet blueberry and malt flavor. Decent body. Pretty good, especially for a Matt beer.

A hazed golden ale with a thick off white head. In aroma, a light blueberry malt with faint cheesy notes. In mouth, a sweet malt with blueberry pulp, chalky mineral notes, so-so. Tasted at Raquette River Beer and Wine Fest, July 13 2012.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a thin foamy slightly off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of semi-artificial blueberries, citrus, bread, and a weird almost lactic note. The taste is bready malts and blueberries. Slight bitterness.

Bottle from the Folsom BevMo.Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aromas of blueberry and wheat. Flavor is blueberry and wheat. Better than many of the sort. Gets a little papery/gummy in the finish. Finishes on dry side.

somewhat cloudy pale lager looking thing. Smell is rather fresh with little artificial perfume. Taste is blueberry but its not over the top. Not bad, grows on you. Goes down fairly easy. Creamy co2. Finish is near typical fruit beer. sara, the first variety pack i can remeber.

Bottle. Pours a slightly dingy amber (is it a blue haze to it?) with a decently fluffy white head that dies to a film quickly. Aromas are enticing and heavy with blueberries... but kind of in an artificial way, which makes me wonder whether this will be \"authentic\" or a mess of syrupy fake blueberry flavoring. My first sip answers the question and it is a mess of syrupy fake blueberry flavoring... Ugh! I hate fake flavoring. This is no different. Blech.
