Bottle @ home. A bit hazy amber color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops, rye and piney. Taste malts, hops, rye, nice piney hoppiness and piney bitter. Lingering hop bitterness. Decent to medium body, oily texture, decent carbonation. Nice, I like these sort of hoppy beers.

Pours a copper from a bottle, nice huge citrus and stone fruit aroma. Flavor is similar, light brown sugar backbone, and of course lots of spicy rye showing up in the grain bill. Good beer.

Nice rye IPA, packing a nice mix of bright citrus hops and a ferociously bitter back end. Starts with semisweet orange-caramel malt front, then quickly grows hints of grapefruit and pepper before turning piney and dry, resinous IBUs playing off a moderate rye spiciness. Finishes with a flourish of citrus and bread, all slathered in thick, rich hoppy bitterness. Nose is mostly pine with traces of rye malt, and the pour comes out a mildly hazed burnt umber topped by a modest head and slight lacing. Good creamy texture with just enough abrasiveness to remind you it's a rye beer. Tasty.
