Bottle kindly donated by my wife, many thanks. Very dark brown color with thick off-white head. Dark malt, coffee, notes of caramel in aroma. Sweet dark malt, coffee, caramel, light citrus hops in taste. Not bad.

dark brown colour with ruby notes anf huge, long lasting, dense beige-ish head; aroma of roasted malt, some burnt sugar, dried fruits, maybe herbal notes and minimal coffee;taste of is the same with very intensive burnt bitterness; not bad, but not really good as a black IPA (is it really a black IPA?)

Clear dark brown beer, big creamy beige irregular head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very buttery, butter scotch, sweet, caramel, some banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of butterscotch, diacetyl overload, caramel, more butter, little sourish. Aftertaste: banana, caramel, dried fruits, cookie dough, very hoppy, bitter, resinous. In this type of beer, the butterscotch is actually not too disturbing, sort of blending in with the fruity yeast, caramel and roasted flavours. But it does set of any serious beer taster's alarm bells. Oh, and no way that this is a black IPA, seriously???
