Single variety, still cider. Colloggett Pippin, also known as Cornish Giant is one of the largest cider varieties, in some instances making fruit as big as a cantaloupe melon, which is apt because there’s a hint of that in the cider. It’s also tart with a long, tannic finish. Best served cellar temperature. 750ml. 6%.

750ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Clear golden colour, thin bubbly white rim and aroma of apple, fruit, funk hint. Taste is tangy, tart, appley, fleshy fruity, with drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
