On tap at Heist. Pours dark brown with a dark tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee. Taste follows nose, with hints of wood and smoke. Finish is sweet and roasty.

Draft at Salud Cerveceria. Dark brown color small brown head. Aroma of gingerbread and dark chocolate. Taste is earthy spiced cocoa. This base beer was my favorite of the three.

Tap at brewpub. Opaque black colour, tiny brown head. Cocoa, toasted, alcoholic nose. Full-bodied. Sweetish front, then dry papery notes, cocoa and alcohol. Not as intetesting than tuned ones.
