Aged sample Thick tan head fast gone over black beer. Roast, smoke, charred wood, sweet syrup, resin, cypress, Café Noir cookies. Smoked, dry, tarred poles, oilspill sand, cypress, pine, meatroast with nuts and glazing. Full bodied, chewy, warming. Long lasting flavours. Another impressive smoked stout. Txs to KUL!

Can, shared by Dan. Pours black, with a medium, dense, tan head. The nose is strong coffee, brandy, bitter chocolate, and oak. Sharp and sweet, with a little bitterness to balance. Very heavy body, with a thick, syrupy palate. Big, complex and pretty unique. This is a delicious stout.

Pitch black pour with a medum height dark tan head that is quickly replaced by a thin tan lacing. Notes of roasted malts, smoke, dark chocolate, bitter cherries, light spiciness. Smooth texture, full body, light carbonation and a roasty bitter-sweet finish. Not bad!

Can shared at THT November thanks to potjebier who has just left us (have a good trip!). Black with brown head. Some smoke indeed, toffee, quite some roast, ash, licorice, molasses, smoked salty licorice (if that makes sense). Medium sweet and bitter. Almost full bodied with creamy feel and soft carbonation.

7 4 8 4 15 Bottle shared at THT November. Black with a small beige head. Aroma of smoked malt, dark chocolate, licorice, caramel and veggies. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Can shared at Foeders' bottle share Oct. 2017. October 20 release. Black color. Beige head. Aroma's: roasted, light sulphur/vegetal, light smoke. Retronasal it's sweetish, light smokey, some alcoholic fruitiness. Flavor is moderate sweet, alcohol. Strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Long finish, smokey, moderate bitter. Edit: after about 15 months there's nothing vegetal anymore and it has much more (coffee) roast, which does it well. 3.7 --> 3.8
