A delicate blend of fresh, unfiltered lager and a batch that’s fully matured with a beautifully hazy gold colour, and a satisfyingly rich, deep flavour.
Our Kräusened lager (pronounced Kroy-Zened) is everything you’d expect from a golden lager with a fuller and crisper feel. Krausening is the time honoured way brewing bohemians would finish their beers. It is unfiltered, unpasteurised and matured in our cellars. We then add some freshly fermenting Budweiser Budvar original to kick start a second fermentation before it goes into kegs. In doing so the beer continues to ferment adding a softer, natural carbonation and finishing drier and cleaner as the fresh yeast works its magic in the beer.

Czech pour at The Stranded, Charing Cross. The old dudes behind me wetre repulsed by so much foam. Opaque amber gold. Thick foamy white head. Aroma has malts, grains and a metallic streak. Flavourwise it has a hoppy.bitter streak with herbal ans spice elements. Metallic streak too. Underlying chewy malts. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Ei ole cask (nagu taplist lubas), ja no näeb välja filtreeritud.. karbunn on kõrge ehk keg, wtf, suvakas makro sitt mida tahetakse müüa millegi muuna..

Аромат с запашком уже, с какой то противной ноткой от носков, хоть и немного, также солод, он в принципе нормальный. Цвет слегка нефильтрованный как будто. Вкус не очень, вообще не очень. эта нотка от носков убивает все в пиве. А при глотке она усиливается. А так вроде пилс ощущается, но все равно его не брать, может были проблемы с хранением. Updt 2023. Взял на разливуху в пабе и мне дико зашло. Очень необычный и яркий вкус.

On tap at The Rake in Borough Market, London. Medium gold pour. Soft malty palate. Grainy with a finish of earthy hops. Clean and crisp.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Gold pour with a white head. Citrus & floral aromas. Malty, citrusy taste, touch of caramel coming through in the back end. Malty sweet finish.

Growler fill from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light malt and corn. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish.

Keg at London Craft Beer Festival 2023. Gold, high head. Rich malt nose, nice lemony hops. Rich malt flavor with solid hop bitterness. Nice, but not so different to the regular.

10/1/2013. Tap at Farringdon Tap. Pours almost clear dark golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is malty, bready, fruits, light grassy edge. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. average carbonation. Quite drinkable.
