Made in support of The Brewtography Project's Kickstarter campaign. The base is almost Flanders-red style, but without acetic acid (vinegar flavor sometimes present in those beers). I added a moderate amount of ruby red grapefruit zest to the beer just prior to packaging. The result is incredible, in my opinion. The flavors are complex, the acidity of the beer balances well with the grapefruit flavors. The aroma is positively candy-like, it is really great. The base of this beer gives it a bit more complexity than STARFIRE and STARFIGHTER, due to the darker malts and higher gravity.
