750mL bottled April 24, 2017, drunk 9/20/17.
Blueberry pulp/juice-colored body shows good clarity and a violet-tinged, off-white head of modest retention.
Spicy blueberry seed/skin tannin in the nose is surprisingly well-integrated for the relative youth of this beer. Mild Brett acids behind it mix with a touch of cracker and biscuit-like wheat, with little/no lactic acidity and very little "sweetness". Clean, as Tommie Sjef's always are (minus the sulfur bombs that sometimes occur) and with well-done fruit, as always.
Soft, lightly juicy, lightly tart and neither sour, nor overly fruited, with a bit more depth to the malt and fruit sugar/fruit tannin, than some of the other Tommie's. Again, very gentle, mild, homogenized and not really much of a "sour". But the flavors are clean, elegant and well-done, if quite light. Tight carbonation and a fairly malty texture, though still quite dry and a bit astringent on the finish.

Hazy pink appearance with no head. Aroma and flavour have some sweet floral blueberries. Lightly tart. I expected more fruit intensity.
