Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Cloudy pastel straw, soapy head. Aroma is all hops - dank and pithy, low on sweetness - gooseberries, cat piss/currant leaves, a hint of pomelo (unsweet juicy pale citrus), a little doughy yeast. Taste: again, pithy citrus, dank, no sweet fruit, no malts. Nice smooth mouth-coating pithy bitterness. Light but chewy body, soft carbonation. Of course, it is a lager only in the name, as a matter of fact it is as (session) IPA as can be. Very good. 3,8/5.
