She may be sweet as honey, but this daring brew packs a punch. Honey Hips conjures aromas of clover honey and refreshing citrus with a touch of sweetness, making her seductively drinkable. This lady has a fierce passion for unparalleled craft and is bold enough to make your head turn

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent copper tinged gold with a white head that didn't stick around long. Aroma of slightly roasty malt and perhaps honey. Caused me to sneeze. Med body plus a bit. Flavor is honey, arguably with a touch of orange, and some malt that's a very little bit roasty. Something like a bit of spice - clove maybe. It's not all that dry, and certainly not that bitter, but the ABV is carrying this along. Blonde and honey don't usually ring my chimes, but I'll drink this.

On tap at Latitude 33, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out subdued honey sweetness and toasted bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with thin honey notes, cereal notes and bready malt. Tastes more like a thin braggot. Meh.

16 oz pour in the Biergarden, Encinitas on 8th May 2016. Light golden body, full white head which hung around. Fruity, spicy feel to the aroma and taste, honey traces too. Leaning towards sweet on the palate, but that restrained βhoney sweetnessβ rather than sugar sweet. Decent.
