Cloudy golden, frothy white head. The aroma is green beer upfront - spicy vegetal, green grapevine - gets maltier with temperature - sweet white bread, citrus candies, spicy herbal hops. The taste is a juicy light fruity citrus malts, soft green beer astringency followed by some citrus and crisp dry herbal bitterness - all within a crunchy well carbonated light body. A kölsch it is not by a long shot, hardly a German lager; a sort of a Zwickl / Saison cross that is still young and vibrant. A very nice juicy quencher.
