Clear dark ruby, small pink head with some retention. The aroma is a pretty nice mix of apple and currants, that does not smell neither like a juice nor alcoolic beverage - more like fruit form a rich fruit pie. The taste is sweet with a lot of balancing apple juice acidity, black currants juice adding complexity, and even some cidery funk. Not bad as an easy desert drink. Of course, if you would ignore the cloyingly sweet aftertaste.
