Tap at Brewerkz, Orchard Parade. Poured a slightly hazy medium to dark amber with a long-lasting frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, grassy hop, light pine needle. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a big, yet smooth, citrus, light sugary, alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I’m not sure that it can be described as one of the world’s great beers but it’s a long long way from being one of the worst!

500 ml. bottle @ home. Purchased @ Willems & Zoon. BBF 15.03.2015. Clean golden, thin rising bubbles, creamy white head. Nose is yeasty with light pleasant exotic hops, mango, mandarin, not very heavy but pleasant light fruity hops with a somewhat dominating yeast presence. Pleasant, lovely surprise. Taste is mango peel hop bitterness upfront, med. yeast presence – touch heavy, finish leads into tad odd grass hops, light sweetness, powdery, white dough, hops aren’t very expressive (possible age), yeast dominates the hops a bit but it is still a pleasant beer, mellow but good, light lemon sweetness, finish, light yeast & dry grass bitterness, touch floral, light plastic, light bitter plaster… Yeasty body. Still drinks very easily, age might play a part here – nice one from Singapore still. Possibly slightly elevated score given the country of origin.

Bottle @ home. Fluorescent orange color, huge super long lasting white to off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, lightly floral hops. Taste malts, floral hops, decently bitter. Decent body and carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub. Even more citric nose than the IPA. Very lemony taste, too. Sweet. I don’t know, but it’s not that convincing.

Tasted from the tap at the Barcelona Beer festival (13/03/2015). Hazy golden colour with a small white head. ARoma of yeast, grains and malts. Taste is fresh and bitter with presence of hops. Aftertaste is bitter too. Next one please!

Sampled under the designation of X IPA 7.5% ABV Small off-white head over veiled orangeish-amber beer. Ureum, fruity, exotic hops’ nose. Bit of cakebottom, slight oxydation. Sharpish, cheesy flavour. Toast, caramel, caramel-covered strawberries, even a tad liqueurish. Gets milder warming up. Slighlty burning MF, medium bodied, quite slick. Certainly not spectacular, but decent. IMO more halfway IPA - IIPA, than outright double IPA. Txs to Stef!
