Draught (9.2%) @ the brewpub, Miramar. Aroma has sweet sugary tones and brown sugar. Flavour has sweet chocolate and cocoa tones. Also some malt. Sweet all the way.

Pours pitch black with a smooth brown head. Aroma of sweetish roasty malts, coffee, licorice, berries and cocoa. Taste is sweetish, malty and roasty with some berries, coffee, cocoa and licorice. Finish is sweetish, salty and roasty with some licorice and coffee notes. Sweetish and heavy with berries.

Draft pout at the Ballast Point tasting room. Poured a dark brown color with a smalll white head. Aroma was dark chocolate, dark fruits, roasted. Chocolate and light dark fruit.
