A slight haze, amber colour with a frothy, warm-beige head, average retention and a light ring and thin coating on the brew. Darker cereal grain aromas with spices, a touch of alcohol and bananas. This continues in the taste with decent, mild dryness in the finish. Some caramel malt flavours as well to blend things. Not a bad refreshing Tripel beer to start with, as nothing too complex, but one to go down nicely.
