Combines a rich and roasted malt backbone layered with notes of chocolate, espresso, and toffee. We condition the beer on whole coffee beans provided by Larry’s Beans with additional cold brew concentrate to drive huge coffee aroma and flavor to this seasonal favorite.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours an opaque black with a small, dissipating light brown head. Sweet coffee nose with a vanilla touch. Medium body, hard roasted malts and coffee yet with a slightly sweet vanilla touch. Quite some malt bitterness. 280110

Thanks to Rogueone for sharing bottle #1658, labeled as "Aces & Ates". Pours black with a thin tan head that retreats quickly to an outer ring. Spotty rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted coffee and some malt. Medium, creamy body with flavors of coffee and milk chocolate, along with a touch of mildly bitter hops. The finish is smooth and roasty with a malt and coffee aftertaste. Decent overall, although it may have suffered a bit from being tried after the Wake & Bake which is more dry and robust.

From Tytoanderso’s growler. Lots of good coffee aroma and coffee flavor. Some malt. Dark brown and a thin palate. A solid coffee stout.
