(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 8 Dec 2017) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, chocolate, cherries and red fruit. Malty, fruity, slightly roasted taste with chocolate, sour cherries, chocolate, dark fruit and a slight tartness in a finish with a balanced cacao bitterness. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Interesting and tasty. It is what it says: chocolate and cherries, with a light, but fresh, tartness in all the chocolate and coffee. Nice one.

Bottle. Eye apparently thick rich dark beer looking fun stuff. First taste is a bonanza of cornucopias. Sweet, burnt, hidden, cloying, cherry. Has a metallic aroma. Difficult sweet burnt coffee, some dark bitter baking cocoa. Koe-koe-koe-hah. Sweet nearly cloying volatile stout impact. Cherry fades in the end. Just a little over the top, for me.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured black and oily with a huge foamy dark brown head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was cocoa, marshmallow, alcohol and toasty malts. The flavor was toasty and roasty with cocoa, vanilla, chocolate cake and cherry. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and creamy.

Tap at Konttori. Opaque colour, small steady beige head. Aroma has roasted coffee. Medium-bodied. Coffee, roasted malts, some lactic notes. It is ok but then sweet riped cherries. Unbalanced. Base beer is good.
