Poured from bottle best by Feb 2018 dark black with red hues and a creamy cocoa head. Aromas of roasted malt cherry light roast. Taste is sweet with a lingering robitussin cough syrup bitter finish.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Milwaukee, 11/23/17. Dark brown, thin creamy brown head, fair retention. Aroma of chocolate, roast, cherry. The taste is roast, leather, chocolate, cherries, vanilla. Thin, low carbonation, a bit of a lingering tartness from the cherries.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small beige head. A big sweet vanilla and cake nose. Sweet, cocoa, ashy, marshmallow, soft, licorice. Very smooth. A bit of a sour cherry bite in the finish. Quite nice.

12 ounce bottle. Dense black color. Small creamy tan head. Roasted malt nose. Notes of sour cherries and cocoa. Tart cherry, espresso and bittersweet dark chocolate. Thick and chewy mouthfeel. Certainly different, though not distinctive.

Bottle, Wine Warehouse. Pours black with a small dark brown head. Aroma is chocolate (somewhat candied), roasted malt, alcohol. Flavor is fake candied chocolate, bitter cherry, vanilla, cocoa powder, sugar. Too artificial flavored for my liking.
