Dark brown colour, fairly clean at first with ruby see-through and copper highlights. The head is beige, frothy, good retention and some lacing spots. Roasted malt base giving some dark fruits (raisins, dates), chocolate malts and apples. The coffee is light, but shows up a little more in the taste, blending with the bitterness, dryness and hoppiness. I have had many times the Lulo coffees, and they are fruitier, not really bold, hence why the coffee is so light here. Quite a dry, hopped up stout.
