Enjoyed at the pub in April 2019. Caramel-amber colour with an off-white head with light creamy lacing. Apple aromas with fruity notes and caramel base. Decent hops, even a little wood. Caramel and apple flavours. A nicely dry mouthfeel, and refreshing. Nicely balanced between the sweet malts, fruitiness and light hops.

Reviewed from notes.
Poured into a mug, the appearance was a semi-transparent amber color with a slight transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. Slight stringy lace.
The aroma had some sticky caramel/toffee malts up front, fairly sweet. Just a touch of some bready/yeastiness. Light nuts underneath.
The flavor had a decent blend of the nutty malts to the caramel/toffee malts, mainly staying sweet, but also not exactly pulling much else into the balance. Malty sweet aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. ABV felt appropriate and had that feel that made me almost want to crush this.
Overall, pretty good amber lager, worthy of having again. And nice to have this time of the year. Good call, Vermont Pub for having this as a Spring seasonal.
