Bottle no. 18 from the Ottawa brewery. Pours a darker brown colour, hazy with lots of amber highlights. The warm beige head fizzes away quickly leaving not much. The After Eight mints are very present in the smell. It is one of those you like or not. I like these, so good so far. Then, some sourness comes out. This is also very felt in the taste, which really comes and kill everything. Mint is alright in the flavours, but this sign of infection ruins it. I had a sour stout last night, and it was quite good. Because, it was suppose to be that way. This one, should be chocolate malts and that nice mint. It has this, and some sour WTF !
