Growler from the brewpub in Ottawa. Pours a dark brown colour with limited copper highlights, a smaller beige head leaving a ring around the brew. Roasted malt nose blended with the coffee and mild yeast. Hints of nuttiness as well. The taste is also pretty light with the combo of burnt malts and coffee. The mouthfeel is a tad tarty with the coffee grinds, but mostly dry in the finish. Not as rich as their original Coffee Porter, so easier to drink a whole growler.
