Decent dunkel and better than I expected to encounter. Also had in Thailand - good to see superior Cambodian beers in another kingdom. Roast and some caramel. Pours black with good head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Bottle in Patong.

Bottled. Nose is caramel, orange, spice, fruity. Amber-brown. Flavor is soy, orange, chocolate, a bit sweet but not a bad dunkel.

Bottle into a taster showing well filtered deep amber with no head. The nose shows moderately intense notes of lager malt and lightly intense notes of Belgian yeast. The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Mildly sweet with moderately intense notes of lager malt and barely any bitterness.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Deep amber-brown. Aroma of malt, bread, caramel, vanilla, a bit of toast, light vegetal note. Sweetish flavor with malt, caramel, bread, vanilla, a bit of toast, and a slightly metallic bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

Bottle at Brew, Beers and Ciders, Sukhumvit. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is toffee caramel sweet malt. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth sweet sugary malt, light fruit palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A real sweety, perhaps too sweet, but it’s nice to see something other than a Pilsner being brewed in this part of the world.
