Sample during the "Final Christmas Eve Adventures with the Foxes" on 12/24/2017. The beer is a dark purplish-brown color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of tart berry, roast malt and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of tart blackberry, roasted malt and cocoa. The finish is sour berry and a bit of malt. Above average overall.

Draft at the source. Dark clear maroon color beige head. Aroma of blackberry on a roast coffee background. Taste is softly sour with tannins, fruity coffee. Very nice.
