330ml bottle from a supermarked in Bangkok. Dark amber body, frothy head that quickly diminishes leaving a thin layer on top and no lacing. Caramel, some sour or fermented fruity notes. A bit bland and too sweet, not what I expected - no tart. All in all disappointed.

Aroma is heavy pine cone, old hops, a hint of canned peach and dish water. Taste is surprisingly sour, also stale. Not good.

330mL bottle at The Riverside Bar & Restaurant - Chiang Mai, pours a cloudy orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out cardboard, bready malt and light English hops. Flavour is very light, with bready malt, some restrained English hops and cardboard. Tastes old and lacking in oomph. Not good at all.

@Err restaurant, Phra Nakorn, Bangkok. Hazy amber brown colour, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing. Rich aroma, sweet malts, caramel, vanilla fudge, honey, light ginger. Flavour medium sweet and bitter, malty, toffee, light honey. Sweetbitter finish, bit watery. Very nice aroma but taste rather flat, lacks the necessary bitterness, quite a pity.

Bottle at Wishbeer, Bangkok. Near clear amber with a white head. Aroma of biscuity malt, light veggies, cardboard and a little fruity hop behind. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with very soft carbonation. Not great at all but maybe there’s something me bottle variation as Jmgreenuk who I’m ticking with had the be last night and had a much better experience.

Bottle at Dog Step, Bangkok. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeast, grassy hop citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp big woody hop bitter, light floral, light pepper spice palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A fine session IPA.

33cl bottle at German Hofbrauhaus, Chiang Mai. Medium white head. Clear light amber pour. Good bitterness. Good ABV for SE Asia’s climate. Very drinkable. Good first beer!
