Solid black color with a short tan head that persists.
Smooth dark and milk chocolate with hints of bread and toast. Earthy spicy hops to counter. Clean well made beer!

Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Chocolate aroma. Chocolate and roast flavor. Medium bodied. Chocolate and roast linger with light caramel.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Dark toffee aroma. Medium body. Flavor is dark toffee with some bitterness. Good schwarz.

On tap in Lihue. Black with beige head. Aroma is cocoa, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is cocoa.

Draft at the source. Nearly black color beige head. Burnt cocoa aroma. Taste is burnt espresso and dark chocolate. Very tasty.
