Flare (yes, that’s how we are spelling it) is our gose that we have added citrus fruit to. This beer is slightly tart, a little salty, and has a nice balance from the fruit and spices. Ale brewed with orange and coriander.

From tap at Basement Beer Bar, Aalborg. Aroma is plenty of salt, citrus, orange, lemon, spicy notes, light bready malt, bit of lacto. Flavour is salty, light tart and slightly sour. Body is light to medium. A tasty citrussy and nicely salty Gose.

33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy orange with no foam. Aroma is intensely citrus. Body is average, like carbonation. A little astringency. Taste is medium sour, with some sweetness. Finish is fairly short.

1 pt. 9 fl.oz. bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 5.4%. Slightly hazy brownish golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of lactic acid, oranges and spices. Medium sour flavour, lactic acid dominates, notes of spices, hints of oranges.

500ml bottle. Clear, amber colour with average, frothy, rapidly diminishing, white head. Tart-ish, lactic, spicy and slightly fruity, minimally strawy wheaty aroma, rather unspecific fruitiness, maybe peach and apricot in fermenting process. Taste is sour, slightly fruity, minimally strawy, unspecific fruitiness, slightly too agressive acidity.
