This beer is a dark brown color with a medium foamy khaki head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted coffee, chocolate and malt. Medium to full body with a roasty coffee and malt character, with some fudge and caramel in the background. The finish is espresso and malt. Pretty good all around.

Shared from bottle at Maakun’s. Thanks svartvit! Nearing black with greyish offwhite head. Big sweet roasted chocolate malts, coffee, mocha, hazelnut, caramel. Big sweet and mild bitter. Full body, malty and slick, soft carbonation. Nice dense coffee.
