This common variant from the Emelisse White Label Series produces a stable light brown foam head on top of a pleasantly dark-coloured brew. Characteristic whisky hints from the used Single Malt Islay whisky barrels are prevailing in the aroma, which also includes a hint of the roasted malts. The used malts are more prominent present in the taste due to the generous usage of specialty malts. In the aftertaste, roasted and peated notes come together with a pleasant note of liquorice, which lingers for a long yet pleasant time.
