Draft at the brewpub, Big Rapids. Deep opaque brown-black body, medium clumping light brown head. Light nose of cola, brown sugar, toffee, and chocolate wafers. Airy, delicate body with a complex array of tobacco leaf, raisin, roasted malts, and oatmeal; creamy; finishes with roast and tannic grapeskin. The sweet finish becomes cloying after a few ounces. Otherwise, pretty good.
