Draft at the brewpub, Grand Rapids. Translucent red-orange body, thin dirty white head/ring. Spicy, hoppy nose, candylike, with some butterscotch. Sweet, hoppy, spicy body that is quickly overwhelmed by butterscotchy diacetyl. Damn; this started promising.
