Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 24/08/2025.
Hazed dirty orange topped with a thin off white head.
Nose is orange pith, grass, mandarin, earthy hop, faint minerality.
Taste comprises grapefruit, orange peel, grass, pine nip, melon.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy come earthy hop bitterness.
Okay IPA ... if it hadn't advertised Nelson I'd likely have gone 7.3 but it lacks on this front compared with many of the great Nelson fuelled offerings we've seen in the UK this year!

Can. A mild gusher, not explosive by any means but, a lovely frother. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream and head. Light palate semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied malts but, the Phantom signature forward creamy sweetness is evident. Light crisp pine. Soft hop fruits, a light modern Simcoe pineapple vibe. A reasonable Nelson grape. This years batch seems pretty consistent if still nowhere near it's best. Airy crispy finish. Pretty drinkable but, not Phantom's finest. A tad sweet and could do with a little more hop edge.

440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy light yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy, stone fruit, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, fresh, light citrus, earthy, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
