Sample, thanks fonefan! Black, small head. Bourbony caramel aroma. Very sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Maple syrup, caramel and licorice. Lots of bourbon. Very sweet. But thankfully never cakey.

Thanks fonefan! 2024 vintage. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is biscuity, chocolate, syrup, alcohol and some wooden tones. Flavour is vanilla, liquorice, chocolate, some hot alcohol and mild vanilla tones with some wooden tones too. Really nice one.

roasted malts, faint salty caramel, dark chocolate, dark toffee aroma.
Flavor is salty licorice, dark chocolate, roasted malts in the aftertaste which lasts a long time. quite salty. also some cake frosting in the middle. If you like finnish salty licorice, you will like this one.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 03/08/2025.
Pitch black topped with a handsome dirty tan covering ... a good looking bier for sure.
Nose is liquid fruit cake, chocolate, sultanas, brown sugar melt, spice, bourbon rip.
Taste comprises dark malts, figs, ripe fruits, bourbon, molasses, brown sugar melt, toffee, caramel, light spice.
Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Not had a Transient offering for a while and this was bang on the money, rich, luxurious, punchy, balanced.
Class in a glass!

Bottle. Opaque black brown beer, small and short lived bubbly tan head. Smooth viscous palate, good fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Chewy dark malt, dark chocolate and big dark fudge that never gets too sweet. A mild savoury element before thick ripe bourbon barrel aged ripe fruits syrup. Smooth finish. Wonderfully and satisfyingly intense and chewy, as always with Transient. Really something that satisfies at every intense mouthfull.
