Bottled. Foggy brown colour. Small off-white head. Nose: caramel, toffee, nuts, dried fruit. Full body. Light to medium sweet taste. Massive walnut & hazelnut, toffee, burnt sugar, dried fruit, some spices, light bitterness. Solid quad.

F: big, bit tan, average retention. C: dark brown, opaque. A: dark malt, caramel, bit chocolate, red fruits, bit vinous, bit woody, dried fruits, raisins, dried figs, molasses, T: malty, sweet cherries, plums, vinous, bit woody, red fruits, alcohol, caramel, light tannins, not bad but not great despite it, full body, lower carbonation, not complex yet enjoyed, 0,33l bottle from Spar supermarket in Oostende.

Flaska från Belgoklubben. Smak och doft av torkad frukt, karamell, brunt socker och honung. Viss strävhet, stor sötma, oblanserad, fruktig, rund och len med oljig känsla.

12 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out oak, candied sugar, caramel and dark fruits. Flavour is along the same lines, with oak, candied sugar and caramel. Finishes with brown sugar, light oak and caramel. Sweet, but not cloying. Very nice.

Bottle from Belgium... Aroma is true belgian, no surprise in there. Oh yes, and alcohol. Deep brownish body does not really want to hide under any head, for Quad it’s okay. Taste is alcohol most of all, sadly.

Bottle, 10.2%. Quite malty aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour starts off quite malty. Has a mild booziness, OK warming alcohol note. Has a slightly metallic note to begin with, but that seems to fade away. Does not taste 10%, and I do not know whether that is good or bad. Mostly bad, I think. But the beer is all right - quite good, even.

Bottle. Pours clear copper brown with stable beige head. Clear aroma of fruit, malt and caramel, with notes of yeast. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, with fruity and estery notes and bitter touches of hops and alcohol. Bitter and estery aftertaste with acidic hints. Earming alcohol presence. Decent.
