Taste is relatively light for a quad/the ABV. Quite bitter, certainly some wood there. Could do with some more body and sweetness, not bad.

Bottle shared. Clear amber brown with a small cream head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, candy, malt and dark fruit. Flavour is heavy sweet. Medium to full bodied with alcohol warmth and soft carbonation.

A reddish copper ale with a very thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light candy sugar, light curacao, alcohol warmth, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with definite oxidation, treacle, honey, light woody notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at Taste of Tops.

Bottle (from belgiuminabox). Pours dark ruby with beige head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, caramel, malt, fruits, candy. Flavor is sweet, candy, caramel, malt, fruits. Finish is malty with some alcohol. Overall: very nice, sweet and boozy.
